Sada Cumber, First US Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference

Greetings and Welcome,

Serving as the US Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), I visited more than 30 countries, meeting with government, business, and education leaders. In each country I found a desire for stronger ties with the US in business, diplomacy, education and culture. Building these ties presents special challenges as well as incredible opportunities. I have created the Alhambra-US Chamber of Commerce to help develop such ties.

Ambassador Sada Cumber, founder of the Alhambra-US Chamber, presented an inspiring message about the power of peace, understanding, and democracy at a special conference on “Islam and Muslims in America.” The event was forum was jointly organized by Chicago’s American Islamic College and the Organization of the Islamic Conference and took place in September.
